Rock West Composites came to Espiritu with an opportunity to bring its composites expertise into a new category: luxury lighting.

While carbon fiber is typically associated with industrial and engineering applications, its distinctive textures, tonal depth, and refined finishes make it a compelling material for high-end design.

We explored how this technically advanced material could be reimagined for the lighting industry, where performance and elegance can coexist.

Lattice

Part science, part sculpture, the Lattice series was inspired by the geometric order of crystalline structures.

The design combines filament-wound carbon fiber tubing, 3D-printed nylon nodes, and machined metal collars to create a form that feels both precise and expressive.

With its woven carbon surfaces and jewel-like metal details, Lattice brings a contemporary industrial sensibility to luxury lighting.
